POSITION: Facilities Maintenance - Summer Student

SALARY: $17.30/hour

MAJOR DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide walkthrough daily audits of building operations and condition
• Provide quick response maintenance, as per CMMS (Maintenance Ticket system)
• Provide pro-active maintenance projects - painting, office furniture set-up, take down or relocation
• Perform outside duties - clean up and debris removal
• Moving furniture around ONTC Buildings
• Installation of white boards, key board trays etc.
• Summer Term: May to September

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be registered for school in the Fall of 2024 and provide proof of attendance for the 2024-2025 school year
• Good work ethic, energetic and enthusiastic
• Previous cleaning/labour experience an asset
• Must be committed to Company Health and Safety
• Works independently with little supervision
• Some record keeping ability
• Able to lift 40kg when require
• BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION: The successful candidate will need to pass the following clearances: criminal record check, employment references and education verification.
