Location: Kesagami Wilderness Lodge, Cochrane ON

Employment: 9 week summer positions. May 20th to July 28th, 2023.

Pay Rate: Salary start at $3225.00 per month, PLUS tips (usually between $2000 and $3000 for the term of employment) with $295.00 deduction for room & board. Housing and meals are provided. 

Job Description: Your responsibilities will be to help provide the very best in customer service at a renowned remote fly-in fishing lodge located in Northern Ontario. This is typically a 9-week summer operation lasting from May 21st to July 28th, 2023. There is a rotation between four dockhands with scheduled time off in the afternoons and 1 day off every 10 days. Workdays begin just before 7am. Dockhands are required to bring boats around to the dock and park the boats on wooden storage rails. All the duties below are to be completed daily while working in the dockhand rotation. 

Duties: 

• Greet guests at the dock
• Park, clean and refuel boats
• Cut and split firewood
• Grounds keeping and landscaping
• General maintenance of cabins and lodge
• Load and unload planes
• Deliver luggage to rooms
• Assist with work projects around the lodge and around the lake

Requirements and Qualifications:
 Submit a resume with references. Be able to lift 50lbs. Own steel toe boots and have a valid boater's license. Complete a zoon or in person meeting. Work well with others and be a good team player. Be 18 years of age minimum.
