YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:
Reporting to the Reliability Supervisor, you will be part of the Process Plant Maintenance Department. You will be responsible for optimizing plant availability and throughput by improving asset reliability and integrity, using various engineering processes including but not limited to, failure analysis, defect elimination, asset management strategy reviews and facilitating the development and implementation of improvement action plans. You will also ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, the Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
· Oversee condition monitoring activities related to process plant equipment;
· Champion and implement world class reliability programs that will maximize production and profit by minimizing downtime;
· Conduct regular and formal downtime analysis for critical equipment;
· Analyze and collaborate with maintenance personnel on strategies and procedures and make recommendations to improve safety, efficiencies and effectiveness;
· Act as a technical resource to assist the maintenance team with troubleshooting equipment issues and systemic problems;
· Operate in compliance with all applicable legal and engineering standards and specifications;
· Assist with the completion of risk assessments for maintenance activities and support the development of safe work procedures.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
· Bachelor’s Degree is Electrical Engineering;
· Professional désignation (CET, P.Eng);
· Experience with electrical equipment reliability programs is considered an asset;
· Exposure to project management techniques;
· Familiarity with mineral processing, specifically with crushers, SAG and ball mills circuits, bearings, pumps, etc. are considered an asset;
· Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications especially Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PI Vision/Historian and SAP.
Your Work Schedule
· Schedule: 14/14 schedule at our Detour Lake Mine;
Accommodations and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee. Agnico Eagle provides transportation to and from the mine site and will accommodate to cover other travelling expenses according to your location of residence in Canada.
